Evaluation
	One of the early attempts to base teaching on the developmental stages represented by proficiency scales such as the ACTFL Guidelines and the ILR (FSI) descriptions. This is basically the philosophy adopted by the Language Learning Workshop and is reflected somewhat by Greg Thomson's Developmental Approach to language learning.
