Descripción:
Este cuento, en el Mixteco de Tezoatlán, habla de un hombre
que tenía tres hijos y cinco borregas. El hombre mandó al
campo a cada uno de sus hijos con las borregas, pero los corría cuando se daba cuenta
que las ovejas no daban ni un poquito de leche. Entonces él mismo fue a cuidarlas,
pero ni aun así dieron leche.
Al final de este libro, hay una guía para la lectura del mixteco. La mayor parte de las
letras mixtecas se pronuncian igual que las letras del español; pero algunas tienen
distinta pronunciación.

Description:
This story, in Tezoatlán Mixtec, tells about a man
with three sons and five sheep. The man sends each of his sons out
to take the sheep to the field, but runs them off after the sheep don't give any milk.
He then takes them out himself, and even then they don't give any milk.
At the end of the book there is a guide for reading Mixtec.
Most Mixtec letters are pronounced just like Spanish letters, but some are pronounced differently.
