Esta obra es una revisión (1993)
del Vocabulario Tarahumara de Samachique publicado por el
Instituto Lingüístico de Verano
en 1959.
Esta edición contiene nuevos
vocablos que no se encuentran en la primera edición.
Incluye también oraciones para ilustrar muchas de las entradas
que fueron añadidas por el compilador de la primera edición.
Se ha modificado el formato para adaptarlo
al usado en la actualidad
por el ILV.

This work is a revision (1993)
of the Vocabulario Tarahumara de Samachique published by the
Instituto Lingüístico de Verano
in 1959.
This edition contains new entries which are not found
in the first edition.
It also includes illustrative sentences for many entries
which were added by the compiler of the first edition.
The format has been modified to be more like
that which is currently in use
by ILV.
