MALEI Receives Award for Most Outstanding Literacy Program

On December 14th, MALEI (Matigsalug Literacy Education Incorporated) received the award from the Regional Office of Department of Education in Cagayan de Oro for the "Most Outstanding Literacy Program" in all of Region X, Philippines for 2001. In this photo, the Department of Education Assistant Regional Director, Doctora Gloria Binignos, is shown presenting the award to MALEI Chairman Mr. Cosme M. Lambayon and MALE I Project Coordinator Mr. Ponciano Buntag.
