Phonology and Morphology
The programs listed below are used mainly for phonological/morphological analysis and parsing. AMPLE and STAMP are used together to do limited machine adaptation of texts. MacCADA is a Macintosh version of AMPLE and STAMP. PC-KIMMO uses a two-level model of phonology.
AMPLE
Morphological parsing program that can be used by itself or together with STAMP to form a practical system for doing machine translation of texts. AMPLE does the morphological analysis (parsing) of an input text and STAMP does transfer and synthesis of the text into a target language. See also MacCADA.

Together with AMPLE, forms a practical system for doing machine
translation of texts. AMPLE does the morphological analysis (parsing)
of an input text and STAMP does transfer and synthesis of the
text into a target language. See also MacCADA.

PC-KIMMO
A general tool for building morphological parsers for natural
language processing systems, it can also be used to model and
test a phonological and morphological analysis of a language.
Based on Koskenniemi's two-level model of morphology, phonological
rules can be run in either direction: underlying to surface or
surface to underlying.
