One CD-ROM includes Shoebox for Windows and Macintosh, plus the following:

- Tavultesoft Keyboard Manager (version 3.2) for Windows

Printed documentation for Shoebox consists of two books:
- The Linguist's Shoebox: Tutorial and User's Guide (320 pages)
- The Linguist's Shoebox: Application Guide for Anthropology (31 pages)
We strongly encourage those who use Shoebox as an important part of their work to get the Shoebox CD-ROM and books. This complete package has been designed to help you make the software work more effectively and efficiently to solve your problems and meet your goals. We have invested a significant effort to develop the self-paced training program and other helps, because we have few people available to provide product support for individual Shoebox users.
Get Shoebox
- The Field Linguist’s Toolbox is built on Shoebox 5 and is upward compatible with Shoebox. It adds Unicode support, automatic keyboard switching with Keyman 5 and 6, and verification of interlinear text. If you are currently using Shoebox, you can upgrade to Toolbox without any change to your data or settings files.
- The Linguist's Shoebox 5.0 for Mac is available to be downloaded.
