ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines 2012This set of graded descriptions of language abilities developed by the American Council of Teaching of Foreign Languages is widely used for language assessment. It can also be used for setting learning goals. Recent additions include videos of learners at different proficiency levels in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
