Formatting printed materials

Introduction

Printed materials should be formatted to make them look

  • easy to read
  • uncrowded
  • interesting, and
  • attractive.

Formatting depends on how the text was produced. Formatting pages with text that has been handwritten or typewritten is very different than formatting computer-generated pages.

Alternatives
Here are alternative ways to format printed materials:

  1. Format pages using handwritten text.
  2. Format pages using typewritten text.
  3. Format computer text.
