Summary

Ampeeli-Wojokeso is a dialect of the Ampeeli language of the Angan language family. Is spoken by approximately 1,000 people in Morobe Province of Papua New Guinea. Phonology of the language presents a problem in the interpretation of consonant clusters. Distinctions between phoneme and syllable levels is an important one and must be maintained.

Discusses 10 ordered steps for analysis of the structure of various syllable types and of their distribution within the Ampeeli-Wojokeso word.
