Panpipes are a set of tubular flutes that are graduated to give different pitches and are joined or glued together in a raft or bunch shape. | |

The pipes have no finger holes and are stopped at the lower end. They are played by blowing across the top. | |

They can be made of clay, stone, cane, wood, metal, or PVC. | |
