Strategies

    Analysis Identify the contrastive sounds in the language. Practice Use repetition and mimicry to help you master the sounds. Selective attention Use drills to focus on sounds that are particularly difficult for you. Study Take a good course in articulatory phonetics to help you understand the speech mechanism and how it works.
