How to print a poster with a silk-screen printer

Introduction

Using a silk-screen printer to print posters is similar to printing on regular size paper. Most of the steps in this module will refer you to instructions for printing on paper.

Posters usually have larger text and designs than regular printed pages. Preparing the designs and stencils for posters, therefore, requires some different techniques. Some of the steps will refer you to instructions for printing on fabric because they are more appropriate for posters.

If you want to print large posters, you will need to use a printer large enough for the size of poster you want, or adapt the printing procedure.

  • To adapt the instructions for making a silk-screen printer to make any size you need,

    See:

  • Instructions for printing the poster one section at a time will be provided in the future.
