Summary
 

Mufian is a language of the Arapesh family spoken by approximately 10,500 people in the East Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea. The present orthography, proposed by the authors in 1985, was suggested by national translator Joshua Lukas. Has been well received by the great majority of literate Mufian speakers.
