Summary

Side benefit from the workshop is added interest among many Eskimos in this new SIL translation project. Through the workshop and the interest in helping them to write and publish, the Inupiats realized that translators are in their community for more than language learning and Bible translation. Eskimos now understand that others are interested in them as individuals and are anxious to help them find outlets for their creativity.
