A book shell, as defined in the Shell Project, is a book completely ready to be duplicated except for the text. Pictures and illustrations are in place, margins are set, and pages are laid out in proper order and number. Once the text is translated and added, the Shell book can be made into a stencil and printed on a Gestetner duplicator or silk-screen. | |
