534a6: Panpipes

Description

Panpipes are a set of tubular flutes that are graduated to give different pitches and are joined or glued together in a raft or bunch shape.

The pipes have no finger holes and are stopped at the lower end. They are played by blowing across the top.

They can be made of clay, stone, cane, wood, metal, or PVC.
