Example: How to use the OCM category "Fishing"

 

Introduction
 

You can use the OCM categories to organize information belonging to a certain topic, for example, "Fishing". Fishing is a subcategory under 22 Food Quest. Scroll to category 22 and double-click to open it. You will see 226 Fishing, which can be further opened to its subcategories.

 

Alternately, if you want to find out whether and where the topic "Fishing" is listed, look for it in the OCM index under the F section.

You can buy a spiral-bound version of the OCM if you prefer to look things up in book form.

Things to do
  Here are things to do when you use the OCM category "Fishing":
 
  • Categorize any language and culture field notes and data about fishing using OCM category 226 Fishing .
