Teaching a lesson in a Literacy and social awareness instructional program

 

Introduction
 

A lesson in a literacy and social awareness instructional program provides for interaction among both women and men, but with specific emphasis on women's needs. The lesson is based on participation and discussion generated by the learners. Only lessons in Primer I, which teach the basic literacy skills and critical reading habits, are covered in this module.

 

A literacy and social awareness lesson includes these three main parts:

 
  • Discussion
  • Reading
  • Writing
Prerequisites
