Using a silk-screen printer

 

Introduction
 

Using a silk-screen printer is a fairly easy, economical way of making copies of printed materials. It is especially suited to making limited numbers of copies in a location where there are no other printing options.

 

It is also a useful and fun way to print on fabric and make posters.

 
Materials
 

Here is a list of the materials needed to print with a silk-screen printer:

 
  • Silk-screen printer and applicator
  • Ink or paint

  • Stencils
  • Paper, fabric, or whatever you are going to print on

  • Masking tape

  • Cleaning materials
