Summary
	Discusses the need to train scribes for oral literature, and the need for potential writers and editors of original material in the Atzera language. Organized a five-day course for literacy instructors and other interested people. Fourteen students participated. Course had the following aims:
	To develop skills of technique (as needed by scribes and editors) To develop skills of perception To develop skills of story writing
	Students wrote facts as well as stories, and each produced two books about local birds. They learned about note taking, planning, paragraphing, rereading and rewriting; also two men studied editing.
