Summary
 

Covers research done over a three-month period with eight, nonfluent intermediate-grade students in a large midwestern city in the United States. Results indicate comprehension increased significantly and total number of miscues decreased significantly both within practiced passages and between passages. Study validates the repeating reading procedure forwarded by Samuels.
