Explains a Multistrategy method for teaching reading and writing in developing countries. Combines a syllable method and a holistic method. Teaches two different tracks (Workbook track and Story track) with two different teachers. Purpose for using both tracks is to reach all different types of learners. Shows how to design and produce suitable materials to use in both tracks and how to train teachers to use them. Includes sample teachers' guide for both tracks.
