What is a functor?

A functor is a function word or grammatical word (morpheme) found in the language.

Here are some examples of functors in English:

• Demonstratives such as this and that
• Conjunctions such as and, or, and but
• Prepositions such as by, from, and with

• The Gudschinsky instructional program
