What is a test?

 

Definition
 

A test is a tool for measuring performance or suitability of whatever is being tested. Tests give feedback on various elements of the literacy program for evaluating the effectiveness or appropriateness of whatever is being tested.

Some examples of tests used in literacy programs are:

 
  • learner testing
  • materials testing
