Summary

This manual is directed to the writers of initial literacy materials who work in either literate or preliterate societies. It describes a procedure and computer program called PRIMER 1.0 for determining the primer sequence and for organizing words, phrases, and sentences according to the primer sequence. The procedure and program described here will make it faster and easier to write primers. More importantly, the resulting primers should be substantially better because the program makes available more material to inspire the primer writer’s creativity.

The link below will take you to the manual associated with the program. Instructions for using the program are included in the manual. To use the PRIMER program, you must install it from the LInguaLinks CD.

See:

PRIMER program for instructions on installing the program.
