What is a cognitive learning style?

Definition

A cognitive learning style is a preferred way of perceiving and organizing information and of responding to stimulation. People with this learning style use the skill of incorporating rule-sets to select and organize sense data.

Discussion

Cognitive styles vary, as from analytic to thematic or from impulsive to reflective.

One's learning style operates without reference to innate ability or intelligence.
