What is a facilitator?

A facilitator is a teacher who assists in learning and decision making.

A facilitator is a community worker who animates learners to learn as well as community leaders to take community actions. A facilitator gives learners responsibility for their own learning and responsibility for making community decisions. (Bhola 1994)
