Developing instructional materials

Each instructional program will suggest distinct instructional materials to be developed and produced.

After planning an instructional program and making decisions as to what materials will be needed, the program development team must begin the task of developing the instructional materials.

Here is a prerequisite for developing and producing instructional materials:

• You need to choose and modify an instructional program.

• You need to decide what materials will be necessary.

• Develop materials to teach reading readiness
• Develop materials to teach reading and writing.
• Develop materials to teach transition .

• Develop other curriculum materials as defined in your program.
• Develop learner assessing tools and materials.
• Produce trial materials.
• Test and evaluate the materials.
• Make revisions as necessary and produce the revised materials.
