Taping a book

Guidelines

Here are some guidelines to follow when you tape a book:

  • Use tape on a book binding in combination with staples or sewing.
  • Use tape

    • to protect staples from moisture
    • to protect loose thread ends in a sewn book
    • to keep center or outside pages from coming loose, or
    • to give a book a more finished look.
