Introduction
	It is as important to check illustrations as it is to check other literacy material content. If an illustration is not recognizable, there is no point in using it.

Objectives
	Here are some objectives of testing illustrations:
	To find out if the illustrations are easily recognizable culturally appropriate, and useful in their context.

Materials
	Here are the materials needed for testing illustrations:
	Good, clear copies of the illustrations you need to test A form for recording testing results

Things to do
	Here are the things to do when you test illustrations:
	Show each illustration to the person being tested. Ask the person what the illustration represents or what is happening in it. Record the person's answer and reaction. Repeat each of the steps above with several different people.
