Summary

States the first and most important principle of restricted writing (as in primer stories) is that the mother tongue author must be able to write freely without restrictions. Constraints are gradually added as writing skill develops. Notes one helpful way of getting limited story is to provide the mother tongue author with a list of words that can be expanded into a clause chart as the primer progresses.
