What is a suprasegmental?

Definition
	A suprasegmental is a vocal effect that extends over more than one sound segment in an utterance, such as pitch, stress, or juncture pattern.
	In SIL contexts, suprasegmental is often used for
	tone vowel length, and features like nasalization and aspiration.
