What is self-repair?

Definition
	Self-repair is a repair that is performed by the speaker of the utterance that needs repair.

Examples (English)
	In the following exchange, the last turn is a self-repair: A: I need a new bolt for my oil filter. B: A BOLT? A: I mean for my oil PAN. The following is a self-initiated self-repair. I need a new bolt for my oil filt—um, PAN.
