SIL's dedication to language development past and present
The volume of resources for and about linguistics, languages and language families is enormous. Neither this site nor any site is capable of exhaustively listing all the available resources. Resources listed here are organized as follows:
Language Data consists of collections of data published by SIL in various ways regionally. Some non-SIL sites with broad coverage of language families are also listed. We do not list resources for individual languages - for those interested in that, we recommend a general internet search of the desired language.
The Linguistics Software section deals primarily with language development related software, such as that used for linguistic analysis and the organization of data. Both SIL software and widely used linguistics software from other sources are included.
