If you come across an English language document published by UNESCO you can find out if it exists in French by replacing the final "e" which stands for English in the URL and replace it with a "f" for French. If the French language version exists then this should find it. UN Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD)UNRISD has a programme called ‘Identities, Conflict and Cohesion’. Under this programme they have conducted a research project entitled “Identity, Power and the Rights of Indigenous Peoples”. See below for a description of the project. Research was conducted in Bolivia, Peru, Chad-Cameroon, Nigeria, the Philippines, India, Australia and Canada. A series of seminars is being convened to disseminate the results from this project and to secure feedback from academics, NGOs and indigenous peoples about the project’s research findings and policy recommendations before the publication of programme papers, articles, policy briefs and an edited volume. The first of these seminars was convened on 18 August 2007 in Cochabamba, Bolivia. In 2008 further seminars will be held in Peru (10 March in Lima and 12 March in Cusco), Nigeria (Abuja on 10 April) and New Zealand (Auckland on 23 April).
