The Ram That Butted People

We used to have a ram that butted people. One day, the ram and I chased each other. He followed me to butt me. I opened the corral building, and he came out. I thought his legs were tied, but they weren't. The ram and I ran around and around the well. I took up a broken piece of mud brick and I hit him on the head.  I thought he would die, but he didn't die. Then he moved away he went over to a raised platform and he ate some straw. Finally,  we sold him. As soon as the people who bought him led him away, they went and they butchered him. They barbecued him.

One day, the ram and I chased       du (we, past) 

each other he followed me       bi (he, past) 

to butt me.       di (doesn't happen)

and he came out.       bu (different place)

but they weren't. The ram and I ran around and       du (we, past)

up a broken piece of mud brick and I  hit       du (I, past) 

him on the head. I thought he would die,       di (doesn't happen)

but he didn't die.       ga (same) 

Then he moved away       bi (he, past) 

he went over       bi (he, past) 

Finally, we sold him.  As soon as the people       du (we, past)

who bought him led him away,       ga (same time as last verb)

they went and they butchered him.       gi (they, later time)
