This book consists of 44 lessons, which contain words, phrases and sentences written in Spanish and in Nahuatl of the state of Guerrero. These lessons have been specially selected to help the speakers of Nahuatl to familiarize themselves with some phrases in Spanish. Also, they will be able to use this book to practice reading in their own language.

Este libro está dividido en tres partes: Palabras y frases, Oraciones y Gramática. La primera parte, que se llama “Palabras y frases”, consta de veintinueve temas (lecciones 1 a 29). La segunda parte, que se llama “Oraciones”, consta de once temas (lecciones 30 a 40). La tercera parte, que se llama “Gramática”, consta de cuatro temas (lecciones 41 a 44). En estas últimas lecciones se dan conceptos básicos de los verbos y sustantivos.

This book has three parts: Words and phrases, Sentences and Grammar. The first part, called “Palabras y frases”, consists of twenty-nine topics (lessons 1-29). The second part, called “Oraciones”, consists of eleven topics (lessons 30-40). The third part, called “Gramática”, consists of four topics (lessons 41-44). The final lessons include basic information about the verbs and nouns.
