Este vocabulario bilingüe (con aproximadamente 2000 entradas) contiene muchos de los vocablos principales del idioma zapotaco del Istmo (Istmo de tehuantepec, Oaxaca, México). Las entradas de ambas secciones, castellano–zapoteco y zapoteco–castellano, incluyen indicación tonal entre paréntesis, traducción con diferentes acepciones y formas derivadas como subentradas. Al final del vocabulario, hay apéndices con notas gramaticales.

This bilingual vocabulary (with approximately 2000 entries) includes many of the most common words in the Isthmus Zapotec language (Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, Mexico). The entries in both the Spanish–Zapotec and Zapotec–Spanish sections include tonal notations in parenthesis, translation equivalents with different senses and subentries for derived forms. Following the body of the vocabulary, there are appendices with notes about the grammar.
