At home in Pakistan: negotiating otherness and identity in everyday Pakistani life

The principal aim in this thesis is to take the reader into the everyday life of people in Pakistan and show the similarities we all share as human beings. These similarities are not only at the surface level, but also at the deeper level of the processes that have to do with how we negotiate 'otherness' in our relationships and how the majority of us want to live a functional social life with others around us.
