Este diccionario bilingüe contiene la mayoría de los vocablos principales del idioma chinanteco de San Pedro Tlatepuzco (también se le conocia como “chinanteco de Palantla”, Oaxaca, México). Las entradas de ambas secciones, chinanteco–español y español–chinanteco, incluyen categorías gramaticales, traducción con diferentes acepciones, formas derivadas como subentradas y oraciones ilustrativas. Al final del diccionario, hay notas gramaticales y los apéndices que se enfocan en campos semánticos específicos, tales como: partes del cuerpo, nombres de las plantas y los animales, nombres de lugares, nombres de pila y términos de parentesco.
This bilingual dictionary includes the majority of the most common words in the San Pedro Tlatepuzco Chinantec language (also called Palantla Chinantec, Oaxaca, Mexico). The entries in both the Chinantec–Spanish and Spanish–Chinantec sections include parts of speech, translation equivalents with different senses, subentries for derived forms and illustrative sentences. Following the body of the dictionary, there are notes about the grammar and appendices that provide focus on particular semantic domains: body parts, names of plants and animals, place names, personal names, and kinship terms.
