Abstract:
This report is research on the Manta language located in the Manyu Division, South West Province, and Momo Division, North West Province, Cameroon, carried out in 2001. The surveyors conducted interviews, collected word lists, and carried out Recorded Text Testing (RTT) in the villages of Manta, Kunku, Bantu, and Bantakpa. RTT conducted during this survey proved to be an unreliable indicator of intelligibility. The report contains word lists of Manta from the four above-mentioned areas.
