Description:
This work is an analytical assessment of the old, Ncfe New Testament, which was first published in the 1880s. It chooses two texts one narrative and the other expository and submits them to both an exegetical check and a village check. Problems in accuracy and clarity are highlighted and new translations prepared. The new translation are submitted to a village check and it is concluded at the end of this thesis that the old translation no longer communicates clearly to modern Ncfe speakers. A new translation must be prepared.
