SIL's dedication to language development past and present
SIL TypeTuner was created for users whose needs are not met by the current default glyphs and behaviours of SIL's fonts and whose software cannot access the font features that can change these. TypeTuner allows users to easily modify certain SIL fonts so that variant glyphs or smart-font behaviours (together called font features) become active, creating tuned fonts with feature settings based on the needs of specific users. The easiest way for most users to produce tuned versions of SIL fonts is to use TypeTuner Web (or TTW). Using your browser, click on the link and then pick the font you want to tune, select the features you want customized, and instantly download a zip file containing the customized fonts.
