Title: Sociolinguistic Survey of the Awngi Language of Ethiopia
Abstract:This report summarizes the results of a short survey of the "Awngi" language. This trip was a follow up to an earlier survey, where they had interviewed Haimanot Gebeyehu and recorded his Awngi data which were representative for the Mambuk area. The survey trip was carried out in mid February 1995. The report contains a comparative word list of the Awngi from 1971, 1984, and 1995 surveys.
