Title: Sociolinguistic Language Survey of Dama, Mono, Pam, Ndai, and Oblo
Abstract:
This June 2001 survey sought to answer the following questions:
1) Where exactly are the speakers of these languages located?
2) How many people still speak these languages?
3) What is the current status of these languages?
It was found Dama, Mono, Pam, and Ndai languages to be nearly extinct. Oblo speakers were not located definitively.
