Abstract:
This survey took place November 13-22, 2000. The team visited a total of six villages in the Littoral and South West Provinces of Cameroon. Specific research objectives for this survey were: a) to obtain sociolinguistic information from speakers of the languages there regarding the following issues: dialectology, multilingualism, language vitality, and language attitudes, and b) to use word list comparisons to verify the existence of dialectal differences between the various geographical pockets.
