Title: A Preliminary Report of Existing Information on the Manding Languages of West Africa
Abstract:

This report, written in 1983, focuses on the Manding languages as they are found in Ivory Coast, Mali, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Senegal, Gambia, and Guinea Bissau. It summarized work as it existed at that time on many of these languages. The report catalogs various dialects in some countries. Linguistic characteristics are provided, as well as a varied list of references.
