Kenneth Olson is an International Linguistics Consultant for SIL International and an adjunct professor at the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics. He has taught at the University of North Dakota, the University of Oregon, the Bangui Evangelical School of Theology, and SIL’s European Training Programme in England and France. He has a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Chicago.
Olson’s specialties are phonological theory, acoustic and articulatory phonetics, historical linguistics, and language documentation. He has done field research on Mono, an Ubangian language spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
