A Lexicon of Rhetoric

Areas within this discipline will include the following:

  1. a basic glossary area for provisional definitions;
  2. a collection of quotes from authors that illustrate the use of terms in (1); and
  3. a bibliography of all works cited.

There will also be a game area for less structured browsing of the disciplines.

As was mentioned in the homepage for the site, this project was developed for Foundations of Rhetoric class. Other projects include:

The aim of this project is to provide a way for scholars to cross over from one discipline to another in their studies. As enquirers explore the terminology of a new discipline and come to understand the generally accepted reference of terms, this will serve as a basis for learning and communicating within that discipline area.

The present citations and quotes in this area are taken from readings for a class, Foundations of Rhetoric (HUMA 5301) taught by Vitanza at UT Arlington.
