Note: As of Fall 2019, the MA Applied Linguistics and the MA in Linguistics and Ancient Languages degrees are in teach out phase; no new students will be admitted.


SIL at Biola offers courses that can be taken within a number of different degree programs, including the MA Applied Linguistics and the MA Intercultural Studies.  The MA in Linguistics and Ancient Languages offers Greek and Hebrew courses in conjunction with Talbot School of Theology located on the Biola University campus.

Faculty have excellent qualifications and field experience from long-term involvement in language projects located in N. America, S. America, Asia and Africa. The community of students and faculty maintain a contagious connectivity to God’s heart for the world.
